Camel Trekking in Morocco – Your Own Desert Ship

They will set up the camp’s tents for the night and prepare your meals, giving you the opportunity completely to immerse yourself in this magical setting and experience moments of pure peacefulness.

On your Sahara Desert trekking, you will walk for approximately three hours in the morning and another three hours in the afternoon, stopping whenever desirable or necessary. Of course, you can choose to walk or to ride camels, if you prefer.

Trekking Atlas Mountains – Beautiful Gorges and Fertile Valleys

It is undeniable that trekking in the Atlas Mountains is one of the best ways of exploring Morocco. The Atlas Mountains, home to Berber people and seasonal nomads, is an environment characterised by an authentic way of life that hasn’t changed for hundreds of years.

Trekking in the Atlas Mountains, you will discover beautiful scenery, deep green valleys, fascinating rock formations, and untouchable tracks. During an Atlas Mountain trek, you may come across nomads who, in spring, migrate north with their animal herd looking for grazing land and you will probably spend a night with a Berber family that still inhabits the Atlas Mountains.

When hiking the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, you will be accompanied by mules to carry the trekking equipment; tents, blankets, mattresses, kitchen stuff, and your personal luggage. Local guides and mule men will help you navigate the mountains, discover wonderful scenery, point out interesting features, and teach you about the local culture and life of the people who still inhabit the area. They will prepare the meals and set up the tents for the nights.

The pace and length of each portion of the mountain trek are decided by the trekkers themselves, allowing time to stop as and when desirable or necessary.
